Course Description:
Great alternative to the two local favorites Adair and Willamette! 9 holes, very short in comparison to regional courses. 9 baskets, they never change to the best of my knowledge. River hazards pretty much dry up in the summer but are present for most holes in the winter. Some holes are closed during the winter due to river flooding. Tee Pads suck - Most people throw to the left or right of tee pads on earth. Driving Front nine Left, Back nine right side can be fun.
Philomath is semi-mountain town, can be windy in the winter for the big wide open holes (1,3,4,5).
Course Location:
Philomath's main street was split into two ways in the mid 90's. Heading east on the main drag Applegate. following the police station and directly after the Library a right hand turn clearly signed Marys River Park. The road turns to gravel quickly, at the end of the drive-up and parking area is a loop. Hole 1 drives into this loop. A signboard in the loop parking has a map for the holes.
