Course Description:
This is a good beginners course that is actually quite challenging. It's at a very nice Rec Center so the entire course is pretty much grass. There are no Tee Boxes but there is a Yellow Plank in the ground to mark the Tee Line. The baskets are Discatchers. Since the course is built around the boarder of the Rec Center on some holes you have woods to the right or left and some holes there is a road on the right. There are soccer and football fields around the course but it's built well to still be challenging. Mostly flat with 2 holes with a small elevation and 1 with a slight decline. Good practice for even veteran players because most holes have trees that either need to be played low through or the basket is tucked in behind them. Depending on time of day there might be kids playing by some holes but empty most of the time.
Course Location:
From Rt. 9 in Manalapan take Taylors Mill Rd to the end which is Rt. 522, aka. Tennent Ave or Freehold Rd. At the traffic light make a left and then a quick right into the Rec Center. Then make your first left into one of the parking lots. Park all the way to the right when you pull in. There will be a fence in front of you surrounding 2 soccer fields. The first Hole is by the tree line in between the 2 soccer fields.
