Course Description:
18 hole course from 1981. Concrete pads. Standard chain baskets. Older neighborhood - safest during daylight (higher crime area). ***Map provided online by city does not align with the numbers of the holes on the course (specifically holes 3-8). Moving from hole to hole is not intuitive. The front nine is pretty compressed as the course folds back and forth on itself among older stands of trees. The front nine makes for a great beginner course because of the flat land, shorter distances, and natural wind breaks. The back nine opens up for longer drives, fewer trees, and lots of Oklahoma wind. HAZARDS: 1,2 - swimming pool/fenced in; 5,6 - drainage ditch along May ave; 7 - maintenance lot; 13-15 - highway.
Course Location:
Off of I44 at exit 118 - SW 29th street. Go east to May avenue. Turn south on May. Park is on your right (west side of May ave) at SW 33rd street. Parking is available at the Senior Center towards the pool (west end of the lot).
