Course Description:
The course takes its name from three fishing lakes and a healthy deer herd in this 1,180 acre regional Allegheny County park. The par-66 disc golf course features a front and back nine layout that loop from the Blue Gill parking lot. Two practice baskets, bathrooms and a pavilion are among the park facilities available to disc golfers.
Distances from the Red/White/Blue tees to the green centers are measured at approximately 6000/7400/8400 feet. No two holes are alike, and all reward well executed shots to and from elevated greens and tees, and across undulating mature forested and grassy fairways. Each hole has three pin locations; some fast, some tucked and some sweet.

From Pittsburgh and South: Take Rt. 28 N. Exit 13 at Russellton/Creighton. Left at stop sign on Crawford Run Road. 2.5 miles turn Right on Butler Logan Road. Approx. 2.5 miles turn right into Deer Lakes Park Main entrance. Follow road .5 miles, then turn right into Entrance #1. Park in upper end of Blue Gill parking lot. From the North, take Rt. 910 east and follow Orange Belt into Russellton and turn left into Deer Lakes Park Main entrance. Follow road .5 miles, then turn right into Entrance #1. Park in upper end of Blue Gill parking lot. First tee up steps.
